3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH HASTY AWARDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF
5 SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTEEN AND 25/100
6 DOLLARS ($72,816.25), TO PROVIDE THE 2020 LITTLE ROCK
7 MARATHON FINISHER'S MEDALS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,persons who finish the Little Rock Marathon are awarded a Finisher's Medal which has
10 become renowned for its unique size and design; and,
11 WHEREAS,the annual Little Rock Marathon will be held on February 29, 2020,and March I, 2020,
12 and,
13 WHEREAS, after a competitive bid process pursuant to Bid No. 568, which generated two (2) bids,
14 Purchasing Staff reviewed all the bid pricing and determined that Hasty Awards was an acceptable
15 successful bidder at Seventy-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred Sixteen and 25/100 Dollars ($72,816.25), to
16 provide the medals.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Hasty Awards to prepare
20 the various Finisher Medals for the 2020 Little Rock Marathon events in an amount not to exceed Seventy-
21 Two Thousand, Eight Hundred Sixteen and 25/100 Dollars($72,816.25).
22 Section 2. Funding for these purchases is available in Little Rock Marathon Special Project Account
23 No. 210459-S00B268.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4.Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
30 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
