HomeMy WebLinkAbout15024 \\\\\Illlllllllf////, CI ,m 0 -, IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVIIIIII 2019045896 _ Q { P SENTED:07-24-2019 03:11:42 PM RECORDED:07-24-2019 03:16:13 PM 1 _� SOLUTION NO. 15,04 2, In Official Records of Terri Hollingsworth Circuit/County Clerk 2 �;�'!4 ��Qa PULASKI CO,AR FEE$20.00 3 A RESOLftfill \%`''lRANSFER PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2806 WEST 4 13TH STREET, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, BY QUITCLAIM DEED 5 UNDER THE LAND BANK SIDE LOT PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER 6 PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has stated as one of its goals a desire to provide for 9 neighborhood revitalization, and has taken special efforts to accomplish this goal through its use of 10 various City and Federal Funds, and in affirmative actions such as the creation of a Land Bank 11 Commission; and, . 12 WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this goal, the City's Land Bank has acquired numerous 13 properties in areas that are appropriate for revitalization; and, 14 WHEREAS, in an effort to maximize the City's revitalization efforts, the Land Bank Commission 15 wishes to convey underutilized, vacant, and unimproved parcels to neighboring property owners pursuant 16 to the Land Bank Side Lot Program; and, 17 WHEREAS, in 2010, the city acquired the property located at 2806 West 131h Street, Little Rock, 18 Arkansas, from the Commissioner of State Land Sale with Federal Funds for Five Thousand, Eighty- 19 Seven and 87/100 Dollars ($5,087.87), plus Quiet Title expenses for a total cost of Seven Thousand, 20 Fifty-Four and 70/100 Dollars($7,054.70); and, 21 WHEREAS,the property located at 2806 West 13th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas is a 6,000 square- 22 foot unimproved lot,with no structure; and, 23 WHEREAS, Ms. Yolanda Wright has made an offer to purchase the lot for Five Hundred Dollars 24 ($500.00), pursuant to the Land Bank Side Lot Program Guidelines and she meets the HUD Income 25 Limits;and, 26 WHEREAS, the Land Bank Commission has reviewed her application and voted in favor of the 27 transfer of 2806 West 13th Street, Little Rock,Arkansas Street to Ms. Wright for the stated purpose; and, 28 WHEREAS,Arkansas State Law requires that the City convey property by resolution adopted by the 29 Board of Directors. 30 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 31 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 32 Section 1.The Board of Directors hereby adopts this resolution to authorize the Land Bank to transfer 33 to Ms. Yolanda Wright, by Quitclaim Deed, the properties located at 2806 West 131h Street, Little Rock, 34 Arkansas under the Land Bank Side Lot Program. [Page 1 of 21 I Section 2.The property shall be used for the public purpose of conveying underutilized properties. 2 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 3 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 4 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 5 effect a if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 6 ordinance. 7 Section 4.Repealer.
