3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH
CRUSE UNIFORMS AND
5 EQUIPMENT
TO PROVIDE
POLICE UNIFORMS,
6 ACCESSORIES AND EQUIPMENT ITEMS FOR THE LITTLE
7 ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
9 WHEREAS, pursuant to Bid No. C05010 opened on April 20, 2005, Cruse
10 Uniforms and Equipment submitted the most responsible and responsive per item bid
11 for police uniforms, accessories and equipment items for the Little Rock Police
12 Department.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
16 into a contract with Cruse Uniforms and Equipment to provide police uniforms,
17 accessories and equipment items for the Little Rock Police Department.
18 Section 2. Funds for this contract are available in Account 100 - 350 - 5200 -2020.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
20 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
21 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
22 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
23 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that

1 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
2 of such inconsistency.
