3 A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF MORGAN KEEGAN
4 DRIVE, LOCATED EAST OF RIVEFRONT DRIVE TO RIVER BLUFF
5 DRIVE (G-25-223); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Rev. Code §31-324 (1988), Michael K. Guswami of
8 Rose Law Firm, has filed a petition to change the name of Morgan Keegan Drive, located east of
9 Riverfront Drive to River Bluff Drive; and,
10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its March 28, 2019, meeting, voted to
11 recommend approval of the proposed street name change with a vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays and 2 absent.
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
14 Section 1. The name of Morgan Keegan Drive, located east of Riverfront Drive is hereby changed to
15 River Bluff Drive.
16 Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the City
17 Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said change.
18 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
19 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
20 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
21 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
22 resolution.
23 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
24 with the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
