3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 14,900 (DECEMBER 3, 2018); TO ALLOW FOR THE PURCHASE OF
5 ADDITIONAL LICENSE AGREEMENTS FOR THE MOTOROLA
6 PREMIERONE CAD AND PREMIERONE MOBILE SYSTEM FOR THE
7 LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the Board of Directors adopted Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 14,900 on December 8,
10 2018, ("LRR to allow for the purchase of a Motorola PremierOne CAD and PremierOne Mobile

11 System for the Little Rock Police Department in an amount not to exceed Four Million, Seven Hundred
12 Eighty-Six Thousand,Two Hundred Forty-Four Dollars($4,786,244.00); and,
13 WHEREAS,since the adoption of LRR 14,900,it has been determined that it would be more beneficial
14 to the City to permit the City to make certain disbursements directly to vendors for the CAD System; to
15 Microsoft Licensing; for the Little Rock Fire Department Mobile Devices; for related equipment and
16 workplace modification; and,
17 WHEREAS,to accomplish these changes it is necessary formally to amend LRR 14,900.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to make direct payments for the following items to the
21 vendors involved with this purchase:
22 (a) CAD System
23 (b) Microsoft Licensing
24 (c) Little Rock Fire Department Mobile Devices
25 (d) Related equipment,workspace modification, computer mounting,power,cabling and
26 similar services
27 (e) Additional services and support as funding permits.
28 Section 2. Funding for the total purchase price of Four Million, Seven Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand,
29 Two Hundred Forty-Four Dollars ($4,786,244.00)will be available from an identified line item as part of
30 a Short-Term Financing Note to be issued in 2019.
31 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
32 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
33 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and

1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
4 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency including,but not
5 limited to,Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 14,900(December 8,2018).
