3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CLARK MACHINERY, IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR THOUSAND, FOUR
6 HUNDRED TWELVE AND 43/100 DOLLARS ($194,412.43), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF ONE (1) LEEBOY 8520 STREET PAVER FOR THE
8 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION;
9 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has demonstrated a need for new Street Paver; and,
12 WHEREAS, the City is able to purchase this piece of equipment from the Sourcewell Contract No.
13 052417-VTL which is a Cooperative Purchase Agreement; and,
14 WHEREAS,the City can purchase this machinery for the amount not to exceed One Hundred Ninety-
15 Four Thousand,Four Hundred Twelve and 43/100 Dollars($194,412.43).
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Clark Machinery for the
19 purchase of one (1) LeeBoy 8520 Street Paver in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Ninety-Four
20 Thousand, Four Hundred Twelve and 43/100 Dollars ($194,412.43) to be used by the Public Works
21 Department Street Operations Division.
22 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Operations,Account No. 205409-
23 72300-S40B623.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
