Home My WebLink About14973 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,973 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONRTACT WITH LEWIS FORD SALES, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND, FIVE 6 HUNDRED ELEVEN DOLLARS ($95,511.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF 7 THREE (3) FORD F-350 CREW CAB 4X4 ONE (1)-TON TRUCKS FOR 8 THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS 9 DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has demonstrated a need for three(3)One(1)-Ton Trucks 12 to use as a part of its Street Operations Division; and, 13 WHEREAS,the City is able to make a cooperative purchase of such a vehicle off the Arkansas State 14 Contract No. SP-19-0002; and, 15 WHEREAS, the City can purchase three (3) such trucks at an amount not to exceed Ninety-Five 16 Thousand,Five Hundred Eleven Dollars($95,511.00). 17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF'1'HH: CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Lewis Ford Sales,Inc., in 20 an amount not to exceed Ninety-Five Thousand,Five Hundred Eleven Dollars($95,511.00)for the purchase 21 of three (3) Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 One (1)-Ton Trucks to be used by the Public Works Department 22 Street Operations Division. 23 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Operations,Account No. 205409- 24 72300-S40B623. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
