3 ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE POTLATCH DELTIC 2019
4 HIGHWAY 10 ANNEXATION (A -334), TO ADD CERTAIN LANDS TO
5 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.
8 WHEREAS, a petition for voluntary annexation, (the "Petition ") was filed, with the County Clerk o CIE
9 Pulaski County, Arkansas, using the for 100% property owner method praying that said lands be annexed
10 to and made part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
11 WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas found that the Petition was correct as to
12 form as required by Arkansas Code 14-40-609; and,
13 WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Judge signed an Annexation Order for the site requesting annexation
14 (filed February 27, 2019); and,
15 WHEREAS, an accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of said Petition; and,
16 WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said
17 lands should be annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The following described territory contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
21 is accepted as annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit:

24 A PORTION OF THE SETA NEIA OF SECTION 16, T-2-N, R-14-W, PULASKI
25 COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS
26 FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID SE1/4
27 NE1 /4; THENCE N88°30'45 "W ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SAID SE1/4
28 NE1 /4, A DISTANCE OF 939.47 FEET; THENCE N01°30'47 "E, A DISTANCE OF
29 758.84 FEET TO A POINT ON THE SOUTH RIGHT -OF -WAY LINE OF
30 ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 10; THENCE EASTERLY ALONG SAID SOUTH

POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF THE SAID SE1/4 NEI /4; THENCE S01°30147 11W
ALONG SAID EAST LINE, A DISTANCE OF 446.60 FT. THE POINT OF
BEGINNING AND ABUTTING DEDICATED PUBLIC ROADS AND RIGHT-OF-
WAY IN ALL, CONTAINING 16.913 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
Section 2. The City of Little Rock shall provide police and fire protection; make available Code and
other services of the City; and allow property owners within the annexation to extend service lines to the
Little Rock Water Reclamation system and Central Arkansas Water system from the effective date of the
annexation.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
ordinance.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances or resolutions, or parts of the same, that are in inconsistent
with the provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
