Home My WebLink About14963 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,963 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET APRIL 16, 2019, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC 4 HEARING ON THE APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S 5 DENIAL OF A PLANNED ZONING DEVELOPMENT TITLED SKY BAR 6 PRIVATE CLUB SHORT-FORM PD-C (Z-6535-A), LOCATED AT 10305 7 ARCH STREET PIKE, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; 8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, an application to rezone property located at 10305 Arch Street Pike from C-3, General 11 Commercial District, to PD-C, Planned Development-Commercial, filed by Travoris Akins of Choice 12 Equity Investments, was denied in a 0 ayes, 10 nays and 1 absent vote by the Little Rock Planning 13 Commission on January 31, 2019; and 14 WHEREAS, the applicant timely filed an appeal of this decision to the Little Rock Board of 15 Directors; 16 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS. 18 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 6:00 PM, or as soon 19 afterwards as the item is reached upon the call of the Agenda, in the Board Chambers on the second floor 20 of City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock,Arkansas, on the question of whether to overturn the 21 denial by the Little Rock Planning Commission of a request by Travoris Akins of Choice Equity 22 Investments, LLC, to rezone the property located at 10305 Arch Street Pike from C-3, General 23 Commercial District,to PD-C,Planned Development-Commercial. 24 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed 25 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski 26 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock. 27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
