3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH RP POWER FOR A TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF
5 EIGHTY-THREE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN AND
6 96/100 DOLLARS ($83,257.96), FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
7 KOHLER EMERGENCY GENERATOR FOR THE INFORMATION
8 TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department has a need to purchase one (1) Kohler
11 Emergency Generator to replace an aged,high maintenance unit currently in the City's inventory;and,
12 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing
13 Contract No. 120617-KOH.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with RP Power for the purchase of
17 one (1) Kohler Emergency Generator for a total amount not to exceed Eighty-Three Thousand, Two
18 Hundred Fifty-Seven and 96/100 Dollars($83,257.96).
19 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Operating Account No. 600001-61010.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
