A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK
PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION IN APPROVING
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW JOSE'S NITE
CLUB LATINO, INC., A SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER,
ON THE C -4 ZONED PROPERTY LOCATED AT
9110 INTERSTATE 30. (Z- 6274 -A)
WHEREAS, an application was filed by Jose Contreras for a conditional use
permit to allow Jose's Nite Club Latino, Inc., a special events center, on the C -4 zoned
property located at 9110 Interstate 30; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its March 17, 2005
meeting, voted to approve the conditional use permit with a vote of 7 ayes, 2 noes and
2 absent; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has
determined that action to be inappropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in approving a
conditional use permit to allow Jose's Nite Club Latino, Inc., a special events center on
the C -4 zoned property located at 9110 Interstate 30 is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. Said conditional use permit is hereby denied.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
