ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS NO, 2018 -019
ORDER
On Thursday, September 20, 2018, comes on for public hearing the petition for
annexation to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of the lands hereinafter described, the
original of said written petition for annexation being presented to the Court by Doug
Berry, Scott Tabor, Majel Evans, Lee Maris and Chris Maris; and after hearing said
verified petition, viewing signatures thereto, and hearing the testimony of witnesses taken
orally before the Court in support of said petition, it is established to the satisfaction of
the Court: that said petition for annexation was presented to this Court on the 4th day of
May, 2018, and amended to include additional information on July 6, 2018 at which time
the Court fixed a date of the 20th day of September, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the office of the
County Judge of Pulaski County, Arkansas, in the Pulaski County Administration
Building, Little Rock, Arkansas, as the time and place for a public hearing on said
petition; that said petition was duly filed in the office of the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and has since has been there kept subject to the inspection of any
person or persons interested; that petitioners, caused a notice to be published on
September 4, 2018, September 11, 2018, and September 18, 2018 being once a week for
three consecutive weeks in the The Daily Record, a newspaper having general circulation
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, containing the substance of said petition and stating the said
time and place appointed for the hearing thereof in all things as provided by law as more
fully appears from the proof of publication of said notice heretofore duly filed with the
Clerk of this Court in this proceeding; that the area described in said petition and notice
and hereinafter described is contiguous to and adjoining the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; that said petition has been signed by a majority of the total number of real
estate owners in said area proposed to be annexed, the signers of said petition being
members of entity which owns fee simple title to more than one -half of the acreage in the
area proposed to be annexed and hereinafter described; that the requirements for
signature on said petition under the laws of the State of Arkansas have been fully
complied with; that the limits of the area proposed to be annexed have been accurately
described in the plat filed of record as an exhibit to the amended petition; that an accurate
map of said area proposed to be annexed plainly showing the limits thereof has been
made, is attached to, and was filed with said amended petition; that the allegations of said

petition for annexation are sustained by the proof, that the prayer of said petition is right
and proper, that this Court has jurisdiction over this matter, and the Court being satisfied
of all of the foregoing doth find that said petition should be, and the same is hereby,
GRANTED.
IT IS THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED by the
Court that the following described area, all lying wholly within Pulaski County,
Arkansas, to wit:
PART OF THE SETA OF THE NEIA OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 1
NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID SE1 /4 NE1 /4; THENCE NORTH
01 DEGREES 19 MINUTES 02 SECONDS EAST, ALONG THE EAST LINE
OF SAID SECTION 20, A DISTANCE OF 338.95 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING; THENCE LEAVING SAID SECTION LINE NORTH 46
DEGREES 34 MINUTES 39 SECONDS WEST, A DISTANCE OF 65.00 FEET
TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 37 DEGREES 39 MINUTES 08 SECONDS
WEST, A DISTANCE OF 191.03 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 53
DEGREES 29 MINUTES 07 SECONDS EAST, A DISTANCE OF 211.80 FEET
TO A POINT; THENCE SOUTH 38 DEGREES 14 MINUTES 57 SECONDS
EAST, A DISTANCE OF 8.08 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE SOUTH 02
DEGREES 03 MINUTES 18 SECONDS WEST A DISTANCE OF 315.81 FEET
TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
ALL CONTAINING 28,792.84 SF OR 0.6610 AC, MORE OR LESS.
be and the same is hereby annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, as authorized and provided by law. The remainder of the area
identified in petitioners petition, falling east of the west boundary of Section 21,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West is recognized by this Court as having been previously
annexed into the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
