HomeMy WebLinkAboutwastewater commentsLRWRA has reviewed the proposed annexation plat for approximately 180 acres between the existing City Limits line and Kanis Road. Our comments are as follows:
1. We have confidence that Potlatch-Deltic will submit a viable plan for sewering the area as needed. They have an excellent track record through their Engineers of ensuring adequate
sewerage facilities are designed and constructed to serve the areas in which they have developed.
2. It is unclear at this time whether pumping outside the drainage basin will be proposed, but if this occurs, then it will require full approval up front by the Little Rock Water
Reclamation Commission. This may also carry the requirement of Zero Capacity Fees for the development.
3. Based on LRWRA’s capacity study performed by RJN in 2017, it appears that there should be adequate capacity available in the existing receiving lines if connection is made at the
location discussed with us in the previous design concept exercise. Confirmation of available capacity shall be the responsibility of Potlatch-Deltic, through their Engineers.
