Did you write the Judge's order? And give it to them? If so, what he may want is for you to redraft
the Judge's Order with the statement included for the Judge to sign. It looks like he understands
that the ordinance will come later.

Yes, I think you can proceed based on the Adam's comments regarding the proposed court order
and Walter's statement that the ordinance will be drafted after the petition is signed by the
judge. However, the city's ordinance will need to include the aforementioned "all adjacent and
abutting streets and R's -OW language."

Below is the response I received from Walter Malone, down at the city, to your
request to amend.
"I will use that language when we write the ordinance if that is how the Judge's
Order is done. We do not write the ordinance until it goes to the Board of
Director's."

Scott, your proposal looks good to us regarding the annexation's legal
description and the attendant documents with the exception of the
proposed court order. The full legal description has been left out of the
order. Please amend it to include the full legal description.
Additionally, the county has found a way to work with this annexation
statute so that Pulaski County policy can be met. Therefore, please amend
the proposed city ordinance and the court order to reflect the inclusion in
the legal description, "and all adjacent and abutting streets and rights -of-
way." This way your proposal can meet the statute standard regarding
100% ownership representation when presenting the petition to the court
and the streets and right -of -way can subsequently be included in the city's
ordinance and the final court order thereby creating an more efficient and
uniform boundary.
