You've got the right people! Thank you for contacting us and for providing quality information
regarding this annexation. I was able to confirm that it is contiguous to the city and that the legal
description in the survey matches the intent of the diagram.
Please see the attached coordination letter and map. This letter /map will need to be included in all
subsequent filings with the city, county, and Secretary of State.

Jennifer,
We recently made the attached application to the City of Little Rock for a residential
subdivision.
In speaking with Walter Malone in the CLR Planning Department, this property is still in Pulaski
County, but appears to be contiguous to the City of Little Rock limits.
He informed me that I need to make an application for annexation, but I first must acquire a
letter from AGIO certifying that it is contiguous.
Is this something you can assist with?
If not, could you please point me in the correct direction?

GENERAL INFORMATION ON
THE PETITION FORM OF ANNEXATION
I. THE APPLICANT(S) PREPARE LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND MAP
Coordinate with the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office (1 Capitol
Mall, suite 6D, Little Rock or 501- 682 -2929 — Seth LeMaster) for the preparation
of legal description and digital map
IL THE APPLICANT(S) PREPARES THE ANNEXATION PETITION.
A. The petition should include an accurate legal description and
signatures of a majority of the owners owning a majority of the property
described in the petition.
B. The petition should include a person authorized to act as the agent
for the annexation.
C. An accurate plat or map should be included with the petition.
III. THE APPLICANT(S) PREPARES THE NOTICE OF HEARING ON
ANNEXATION PETITION.
IV. THE EXECUTED ANNEXATION PETITION AND THE NOTICE OF
HEARING ON ANNEXATION PETITION SHOULD BE FILED WITH THE
PULASKI COUNTY CLERK.
A. Copies of maps or plats should be included.
B. Total fees would be $100.00 to the county (This amount may have
changed).
C. A legal notice fee would be payable to the county (cost would be
determined by the length of the legal description).
V. A HEARING DATE BEFORE THE COUNTY JUDGE IS ESTABLISHED.
VI. THE APPLICANT(S) PREPARES AN ORDER PRIOR TO THE COURT
HEARING FOR THE COUNTY JUDGE'S SIGNATURE.
A. The judge approves or denies the order.
VII. THE APPLICANT(S) TAKES A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE APPROVED
EXECUTED COURT ORDER AND FILES IT WITH THE LITTLE ROCK
CITY CLERK.
VIII. THE APPLICANT(S) PREPARES AN ORDINANCE AND FILES IT WITH
THE LITTLE ROCK CITY CLERK.
A. The annexation ordinance is placed on the Little Rock Board's agenda.
B. The Board approves or denies the annexation ordinance.
C. A filing fee of $250.00 is required.

annexation to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of the lands described in the caption
hereof and hereinafter described, the original of said written petition for annexation being

verified petition, viewing the signatures thereto, and hearing the testimony of witnesses

of Arkansas have been fully complied with; that the limits of the area proposed to be
annexed have been accurately described in both said petition and said notice; that an
accurate map of said area proposed to be annexed plainly showing the limits thereof has
been made, is attached to, and was filed with said petition; that the allegations of said
petition for annexation are sustained by the proof, that the prayer of said petition is right
and proper, that this Court has jurisdiction of this matter, and the Court being satisfied of
all of the foregoing doth find that said petition should be, and the same is hereby, granted.

3. That the land described above and sought to be annexed to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, is contiguous to and adjoins an already established
boundary of the City of Little Rock as is shown on the map above referred to; that the
above property is all urban in nature, and is suitable for use and zoned for residential and
other urban usage and purposes. That said area sought to be annexed constitutes a
material, logical and reasonable extension to the city limits of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
4. Petitioners constitute a majority of the total number of real estate owners in the
area affected by this petition (the lands described above) and petitioners own more than
one -half (1/2) of the acreage affected.
5. This Petition may be circulated in any number of identical counterparts. All of
said counterparts shall be taken and construed as but one Petition. "Petitioners" shall
mean the aggregate of all persons signing any of said counterparts.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray that this Court set a date for the hearing of this
Petition so that notice of such hearing may be given as required by law, and that upon
such hearing this Court enter its order annexing the area and territory described in this
Petition to the incorporated limits of the City of Little Rock, and for all other relief as the
Court deems just and proper.
