ORDER APPROVING ANNEXATION AS TO FORM
On the _ day of _, 2018, the Court finds that said Petition is in proper legal form as
defined in Ark. Code Ann. §14 -40 -609, that the Petition is complete and accurate, that the
allegations contained in the Petition are true and correct, that the annexation will not create enclaves,
that the limits of the territory to be annexed have been accurately shown on the map with the legal
description shown thereon which map was filed with the Petition, that the Petition contains a
schedule of services, that the prayer of the Petition is proper and should be granted and that all
requirements of law for entry of an Order approving said Petition as to form have been met.
Pursuant to the Court's discretionary authority provided in Ark. Code Ann. §14 -40 -609, the Court
requires the City of Little Rock to annex adjacent public street rights-of-way, as set forth above and
as depicted in the map filed with this order.
IT IS THEREFORE CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Petition,
along with this Order, be forwarded to the City Board of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
for their consideration.

RE: Kanis Road Annexation
Mr. Malone,
We have received your letter of May 23rd noting this would be presented to the Planning
Commission on June 28th. We have also received your subsequent letter of June 8th deferring this
hearing until the July 12th Planning Commission. If we need to meet with staff to address any
issues please let us know. Further delay will seriously impact PotlatchDeltic's development
schedule.
PotlatchDeltic has petitioned for annexation of this tract for the following reasons;
1. The area to be annexed is entirely within the City of Little Rock Extra Territorial Planning
Jurisdiction.
2. The area to be annexed is adjacent to the current corporate boundary of Little Rock.
3. Annexation of this area will not create an enclave within the corporate boundary.
4. The annexation is voluntary.
5. The annexation petition has been approved by Judge Hyde.
PotlatchDeltic intends on constructing single family residential subdivisions in the area to be
annexed in a manner and quality consistent with their developments over the past 30 years.
Development would begin as quickly as possible after annexation. It is likely that these residential
developments would have access to both Kanis Road and Denny Road.

RE: City of Little Rock Annexation Coordination Requirement
Mr. Daters,
Thank you for coordinating with our office as you seek to annex property into the City of
Little Rock, AR located in Section 34, Township 2 North, Range 14 West and Section 3,
Township 1 North, Range 14 West. This letter represents confirmation that you have
properly coordinated with our office (Arkansas GIS Office) as specified in ,§ 14 -40 -101 (Act
914 of 2015) of the 90th General Assembly.
Our office will wait completion of any additional steps necessary for the proposed
boundary change, which normally comes from the Arkansas Secretary of State Elections
Division after any appropriate filing by your County Clerk.
