RESOLUTION NO. 12,188
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN ANNUAL CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF READY MIX CONCRETE FOR THE
STREET DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City advertised formal Bid No. C05033 to solicit proposals for an
annual contract for ready mix concrete for the Street Department, and Levy Concrete
9 submitted the most responsive and responsible bid in the approximate amount of One
10 Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00);
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a agreement with
14 Levy Concrete in an approximate amount of One Hundred Thousand
15 Dollars ($100,000.00) for the annual contract for ready mix concrete
16 Department.

Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in accounts 205-220-T290-
3020(Concrete Ramp Program) and 200-220-2210-3020 (Streets, Alleys and Bridges).
Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or
adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of this resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which
25 are in conflict with any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
26 such conflict.
