RESOLUTION NO. 11,973
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON
THE 27th STREET (ABIGAIL TO JEFFERSON) & 30TH STREET
(WASHINGTON TO JEFFERSON) STREET IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some right -of -way, permanent construction
easements, and temporary construction easements necessary for construction of the 27th
Street (Abigail to Jefferson) & 301h Street (Washington to Jefferson) Street Improvements
Project have been unsuccessful; and
WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
of eminent domain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
of right -of -way, permanent construction easements, and temporary construction
easements for this project.
Section 2. Funding for this property is available in accounts 314 - 220 -SR03 and
314 - 220 -SR07.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
