2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO LASITER
3 CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR HARRISON ST. (LEE AVENUE TO
4 MARKHAM) STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER
5 PURPOSES.
6 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of Harrison St. (Lee
7 Avenue To Markham), under Bid No.05 -381, and
8 WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and
9 responsible bid in the amount of $439,034.75 (399,122.50 plus 10% contingencies).
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
13 Lasiter Construction, Inc. for street reconstruction of Harrison St. (Lee Avenue to
14 Markham), in the amount of $439,034.75 (399,122.50 plus 10% contingencies).
15 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds for Harrison St. (Lee Avenue to Markham) are
16 available in 314 - 220 -SR14 with supplemental funding from 314 - 220 -SR05.
17 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
18 of its adoption.
