3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO LASITER
4 CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR 29TH STREET (GILMAN TO TATUM)
5 STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of 29th Street (Gilman
8 to Tatum), under Bid No.05 -337, and
9 WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and
10 responsible bid, in the amount of $621,012.15 ($564,556.50 plus 10% contingencies).
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
14 Lasiter Construction, Inc. for street reconstruction of 29th Street (Gilman to Tatum), in
15 the amount of $621,012.15 ($564,556.50 plus 10% contingencies).
16 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds for 29th Street (Gilman to Tatum) are available in
17 314 - 220 -SR06 with supplemental funding from 314 - 220 -SR10.
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
