RESOLUTION NO. 12J64
2 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK.,
3 RESOLUTION NO. 11,826 TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT
4 TERM FROM DECEMBER 31, 2005, TO THE END OF THE
5 CALENDAR YEAR 2006; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock awarded a contract for $44, 102.30 to Family
8 Service Agency on September 21, 2004, that contained at term of one year, from October
9 1, 2004 to September 30, 2005; and
10 WHEREAS, after negotiations between the two parties, the parties desire to end
11 the contract at the end of the calendar year, December 31, 2005, rather than September
12 30, 2005;
13 WHEREAS, due agreement between the two parties to delay provision of
14 services to the beginning of the school year, the parties desire to end the contract
15 August 31, 2006, rather than December 31, 2005; and
16 WHEREAS, this requires that the previous resolution be amended.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. Section 3 of the Little Rock, Ark. Res. No. 11,826 is hereby amended
20 to change the end of the contract term from
21 December 31, 2005, to August 31, 2006.
22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or
23 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
24 affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and

I effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
2 originally a part of this resolution.
3 Section 5. Repealer. All resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with
4 any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
