3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE INTO A CONTRACT WITH LUMATEC, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, FIVE
6 HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($68,544.00), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF LED LIGHT FIXTURES TO UPGRADE THE LIGHT
8 FIXTURES ALONG INTERSTATE 630; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited to provide light fixtures for 2018 Street Light Upgrade Program on
11 Interstate 630, Bid No. 18136; and,
12 WHEREAS,Lumatec,Inc.,was the lowest responsible bid meeting specifications.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase LED street light fixtures from Lumatec, Inc.,
16 for the 2018 Street Light Upgrade on Interstate 630,Bid No. 18136.
17 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the 2018 Annual Street Fund Budget, Account No.
18 205409-S40B616. The amount for the fixtures is not to exceed Sixty-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred
19 Forty-Four Dollars ($68,544.00), which is the base bid amount of Fifty-Four Thousand, Eight Hundred
20 Thirty-Five and 20/100 Dollars($54,835.20) plus 25%contingencies.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
