HomeMy WebLinkAbout14748 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,748 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE INCLUSION OF CODE ENFORCE- 4 MENT ACTIVITIES TO AMENDED SOURCES AND USES OF FUNDS 5 PROVIDED IN THE 2017 CDBG, HOME AND HOPWA FUNDS FROM 6 THE U.S. GOVERNMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS,the City set forth its list of priorities for the use of 2017 CDBG, HOME and HOPWA 9 Funds in Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 14,420(September 20,2016)as revised,Resolution No. 14,607 10 (August 1,2017); and, 11 WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to amend the sources and use of funds for inclusion of code 12 enforcement activities to the 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan and 2017 Action Plan and to amend the sources 13 and uses 2017 CDBG Funds prior to submitting to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban 14 Development; 15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The sources and use of funds as set forth in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 14,420 18 (September 20,2016),as revised by Resolution No. 14,607(August 1,2017)are hereby amended as follows 19 to include code enforcement activities for Community Development Block Grant Funds(CDBG): 20 SOURCES: AMOUNTS 21 Projected 2017 CDBG Allocation $1,248,193.00 22 Reallocated Funds $ 130,875.00 23 Total $1,379,808.00 24 USES: 25 Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation(Increase) $ 667,542.00 26 Economic Development $ 47,884.00 27 Pave My Alley-Infrastructure $ 28,730.00 28 World Changers $ 45,968.00 29 Code Enforcement(New) $ 100,000.00 30 Community Programs-Youth Job Training $ 14,365.00 31 Wheelchair Ramps $ 17,238.00 32 Carelink-Meals On Wheels $ 55,785.00 33 Administration $ 249,787.00 34 Total $1,379,808.00 [Page 1 of 2] 1 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 2 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 3 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 4 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 5 resolution. 6 Section 3. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are 7 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency including, but not limited to, Little Rock, Ark., 8 Resolution No. 14,420(September 20,2016)and Resolution No. 14,607(August 1,2017). 9 ADOPTED: March 20,2018 10 ATTEST: APPRO I: 11 12 MN.
