3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH VEHICLE SERVICE GROUP, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND, SEVEN
6 HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR AND 21/100 DOLLARS ($66,744.21),FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF A ROTARY LIFT SYSTEM FOR THE FLEET SERVICES
8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, there is a need to replace an aged Life System currently being used by the Landfill
11 Maintenance Facility;and,
12 WHEREAS, the total cost of the purchase is Sixty-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Four and
13 21/100 Dollars($66,744.21); and
14 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made utilizing the National Joint Powers Alliance(NJPA)Contract
15 No. 061015-RRL;
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Vehicle Service Group, in an
19 amount not to exceed Sixty-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Four and 21/100 Dollars ($66,744.21),
20 for the purchase of a Rotary Lift System for Fleet Services Department to replace an aged Lift System
21 currently in use,
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Building Account No. 600001-
23 61010.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
