3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GAMETIME, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED THE TOTAL COST OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE
6 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED SIXTY AND 50/100 DOLLARS
7 ($123,260.50), TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL THE TODDLER
8 PLAYGROUND IN RIVERFRONT PARK;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Parks &Recreation Department, specifically the Parks Design Staff has developed
11 playground concept plans and construction drawings to build a Toddler Playground in Riverfront Park;and,
12 WHEREAS, the cost of this project, paid for, in part, with donated funds of Eighty-Four Thousand
13 Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($84,250.00) (Account No. 210459-S45B625) and the remaining funds
14 provided by the 3/8-Cent City Sales Tax(Account No.326459-TS45A11);and,
15 WHEREAS,Parks Development Staff will complete project area demolition and initial construction
16 phase prior to Gametime installation;and,
17 WHEREAS, U.S. Communities, a National Cooperative Purchasing Program (Contract No.
18 2017001134)will be used for procurement;
19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Gametime in an amount
22 not to exceed a total cost of One Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand,Two Hundred Sixty and 50/100 Dollars
23 ($123,260.50), for the construction and installation of the Toddler Playground in Riverfront Park.
24 Section 2. Funds for this project,which will be paid,in part,from donated funds Account No.210459-
25 S45B625 to help fund the project with the remaining funds provided by the 3/8-Cent Sales Tax Account
26 No.326459-TS45A 11.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
29 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
30 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
31 lution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
