3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 AGREEMENTS WITH PRESIDIO NETWORKED SOLUTIONS, LLC,
5 FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE
6 HUNDRED THIRTY AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($67,530.40), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, TO UPGRADE THE CITY'S
8 WIRELESS NETWORK IN OPERATION AT CITY FACILITIES; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the City Wireless Network was installed in 2012 with additional locations and access
12 points added to it since that time; and,
13 WHEREAS, new infrastructure will provide more reliable and faster access as well as provide WiFi
14 to City Neighborhood Resource Centers and additional capacity for the new Little Rock Police Headquar-
15 ters;and,
16 WHEREAS, a contract to provide these upgrades is available to the City pursuant to Arkansas State
17 Contract AR No. 4600036986;
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Presidio Networked
21 Solutions,LLC,to upgrade the City Wireless Network in an amount not to exceed Sixty-Seven Thousand,
22 Five Hundred Thirty and 40/100 Dollars($67,530.40),plus taxes and fees.
23 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Information Technology Department Account
24 No. 103001-72400.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
27 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
28 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
29 lution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
