Home My WebLink About14660 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,660 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD 4 A CONTRACT TO WAGNER GENERAL CONTRACTORS, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, THREE 6 HUNDRED TEN AND 59/100 DOLLARS ($100,310.59), FOR 7 CONSTRUCTION OF THE CAPITOL AT MAIN PLAZA; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited for construction of the Capitol at Main Plaza;Bid No. 17021,and, 11 WHEREAS, Wagner General Contractors, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting 12 specifications. 13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Wagner General 16 Contractors, Inc., for the construction of the Capitol at Main Plaza; Bid No. 17021, in an amount not to 17 exceed One Hundred Thousand, Three Hundred Ten and 59/100 Dollars ($100,310.59), which is the base 18 bid amount of Eighty-Three Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety-Two and 16/100 Dollars ($83,592.16), plus 19 20%contingencies. 20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating 21 Use Tax Funds. 22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 26 resolution. 27 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 29 ADOPTED: October 17,2017 30 ATTEt.
