3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND SECTION 3 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK.,
4 RESOLUTION NO. 14,401 (AUGUST 16,2016),TO MORE COMPLETELY
5 DEFINE APPROPRIATE PROJECTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, in Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 14,401 (August 16,2016)dealing with various items
8 including the definition of a project for purpose of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,Library Construction
9 and Funding Bonds, Series 2015 ("2015 Bond Issue"; and,
10 WHEREAS, to more fully clarify that a current cooperative arrangement with the University of
11 Arkansas at Little Rock with the main branch of the Central Arkansas Library System("CALS")meets the
12 definition of"a parking deck at the main facility;"
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. Section 3 of Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 14,401 (August 16,2016)is hereby amended
16 to read as follows:
17 The following shall be listed as a"Project," "Projects," or"Improvements," for purposes
18 of the 2015 Bond Issue: a parking deck at the main branch facility which may include
19 cooperative public uses of the groundfloor space.
20 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 3. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
26 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
