3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 5, 2017, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ISSUANCE OF ELEVEN MILION
5 DOLLARS ($11,000,000.00) IN PRINCIPAL AMOUNT WATER
6 RECLAMATION SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
7 FINANCING BETTERMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S
8 WATER RECLAMATION SYSTEM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City") owns a Water Reclamation System (the
11 "System"),which is operated by Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority(the"LRWRA"),for and on behalf
12 of the Little Rock Water Reclamation Commission(the"Commission"); and
13 WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the acquisition, construction and equipping of
14 betterments and improvements to the System are necessary;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
16 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. A public hearing is hereby set for September 5, 2017, at 6:00 PM, as soon as the item can
18 come upon the call of the regular agenda, to consider the issuance of up to Eleven Million Dollars
19 ($11,000,000.00)in principal amount of Water Reclamation System Revenue Bonds for the purpose of fmanc-
20 ing betterments and improvements to the System.
