3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ROTARY LIFT,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR
6 AND 21/100 DOLLARS ($66,744.21), FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
7 HYDRAULIC PORTABLE TRUCK LIFT SYSTEM FOR THE FLEET
8 SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the City is in need of a Portable Truck Lift System to increase the efficiency of the repair
11 processes and procedures within the City
12 WHEREAS, the City can purchase such a truck from Rotary Lift for Sixty-Six Thousand, Seven
13 Hundred Forty-Four and 21/100 Dollars ($66,744.21) pursuant to the National Joint Powers Alliance
14 Contract;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Rotary Lift to purchase a
18 Portable Truck Lift System, pursuant to the National Joint Powers Alliance Contract, in an amount not to
19 exceed Sixty-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Four and 21/100 Dollars($66,744.21).
20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the Fleet Services Maintenance Account No.
21 600031-72200.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
28 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
