3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO HARRIS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, INC.,IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND,
6 FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($102,422.40),
7 FOR THE WARD 4 SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for construction of the Ward 4 Sidewalks Project, Bid No. 17020,
11 and,
12 WHEREAS, Harris Construction Management, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid
13 meeting specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Harris Construction
17 Management, Inc., for the Ward 4 Sidewalk Replacement Project in an amount not to exceed One
18 Hundred Two Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty-Two and 40/100 Dollars ($102,422.40), which is the
19 base bid amount of Eighty-Five Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars ($85,352.00), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
22 Use Tax Funds as authorized by as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699 and amended by Resolution No.
23 14,269.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
