3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LITTLE ROCK EQUIPMENT SALES, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND, FIVE
6 HUNDRED DOLLARS($105,500.00), TO PURCHASE A TRACTOR WITH
7 BOOM MOWER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT,
8 UTILIZING THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL CON-
9 TRACT (HGACC); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a City Tractor with Boom Mower is aged and requires expensive maintenance cost;
12 however, a new Tractor with Boom Mower can be purchased without competitive bids through the
13 Houston-Galveston Area Council Contract;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Little Rock Equipment Sales,
17 in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Five Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($105,500.00), for the
18 purchase of a Tractor with Boom Mower.
19 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the Public Works Operation Account No,
20 S40B611-205409.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances and resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
