3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER AN
4 AGREEMENT WITH SUPERIOR PROTECTION SERVICES
5 CORPORATION D/B/A ADVERT GROUP USA,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
6 EXCEED TWO HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS
7 ($216,500.00), TO PROVIDE SECURITY SERVICES FOR CITY
8 STRUCTURES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the City has a need for Armed and Unarmed Security Services for various City Buildings,
11 and pursuant to Bid No. C17128 the City received responses from six(6)vendors and Superior Protection
12 Services Corporation d/b/a Advert Group USA of Little Rock, Arkansas, was determined to be the lowest
13 responsible and responsive bidder;
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Superior Protection
17 Services of Little Rock, Arkansas in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Sixteen Thousand, Five
18 Hundred Dollars($216,500.00)to provide Armed and Unarmed Security Services for City Hall and other
19 designated City buildings.
20 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are included in various Departmental Budgets, and will be paid
21 from their respective Budgets.
22 Section 3. This agreement does not include Little Rock District Courts Building.
23 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section,paragraph, item, sentence,clause,phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
25 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution,which shall remain in full force and ef-
26 fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances and resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
