3 A RESOLUTION TO RESTATE AND TO CONFIRM THE
4 APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE CITY
5 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS RESIDENTIAL HOUSING AND PUBLIC
6 FACILITIES BOARD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. §§ 14-137-101 to -123, as amended ("the Act"), the City of
9 Little Rock, Arkansas Residential Housing and Public Facilities Board was created in Little Rock, Ark.,
10 Ordinance No. 13,528(November 7, 1978);Ordinance No. 13,838(July 1, 1980);Ordinance No. 14,068(July
11 7, 1981),and Ordinance No. 15,501 (June 21, 1988);and
12 WHEREAS,the Act authorizes the Mayor to appoint successor members as nominated by the Facilities
13 Board, subject to the confirmation of the Board of Directors;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby confirms the following as duly-appointed members of the
17 City of Little Rock,Arkansas(Heifer International Project)Public Facilities Board:
18 E. Ralph Cotham,N, said term to expire on November 7,2018
19 Cora Duffy McHenry, said term to expire on November 7,2019
20 Susan Burnside Fleming, said term to expire on November 7,2020
21 Michael M. Watts, said term to expire on November 7,2021
22 Section 2.The Board of Directors hereby reappoints the following as a duly-appointed member of the
23 City of Little Rock,Arkansas Residential Housing and Public Facilities Board:
24 Sarah Clark McBroom, said term to expire on November 7,2022.
25 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 3. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
31 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
