3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH VERMEER MID-SOUTH, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($95,000.00), FOR VERMEER EQUIPMENT PARTS FOR THE FLEET
7 SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the Fleet Services Department issued competitive Bid No. 16138R for vehicle parts,and
10 Vermeer Mid-South, a qualified bidder, submitted the only bid for the necessary parts in the amount of
11 Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars ($95,000.00), and it has been concluded that this is a responsible bid the
12 City should accept;
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Vermeer Mid-South for
16 equipment parts as set forth in Bid No. 16138R for an amount not to exceed Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars
17 ($95,000.00).
18 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Fleet Parts Account No. 600013-60310.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
20 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
21 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
25 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
