3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A THREE (3)-YEAR RENEWAL AGREEMENT WITH SHI, INC., FOR
5 CORE CAL CLIENT ACCESS LICENSES AND ALL OTHER SOFTWARE
6 PRODUCTS THROUGH A MICROSOFT ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT,
7 IN THE INITIAL AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-SIX
8 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR AND 59/100 DOLLARS
9 ($896,244.59); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. ,

11 WHEREAS,the City has previously entered into agreements with SHI,Inc.,to provide Core Cal Client
12 Access Licenses for all City computer users for a period of up to three(3)years,and to provide services for
13 any new users;and,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
15 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a three-year Microsoft Enterprise Agreement
17 for Core Cal Client Access Licenses with SHI, Inc., and all other software products, in a form acceptable
18 to the City Attorney, in the maximum initial contract year amount of Eight Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand,
19 Two Hundred Forty-Four and 59/100 Dollars ($896,244.59), plus any applicable fees and taxes, for the
20 City's current 1,728 users,with the allowance of payment for additional per-user charges, if any, in future
21 years of the contract as determined by the State Purchasing Contract in effect at the time.
22 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Account No. 103030-61330.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
