3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 14,349 (MAY 17, 2016) TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO
5 COMPLETE RENOVATION OF AN OIL CHANGE FACILITY FOR THE
6 FLEET SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, on May 17, 2016, the Board of Directors adopted Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No.
9 14,349 ("LRR 14,349) which authorized a contract not to exceed One Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand
10 Dollars($137,000.00)for the renovation of an Oil Change Facility for the Fleet Services Department; and,
11 WHEREAS,it has been determined that additional work was required and the amount of One Hundred
12 Forty-Five Thousand Dollars($145,000.00)will be needed to complete the necessary work;
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. Section 1 of LRR 14,349, is hereby amended to read as follows: The Board of Directors
16 hereby authorizes the City Manager to pay a total cost of One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars
17 ($145,000.00)for the contract with Brister Construction for the renovation of an Oil Change Facility.
18 Section 2. Funds for this additional payment are to be allocated from the Fleet Building Maintenance
19 Fund.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
22 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
23 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
24 lution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency including, but not
27 limited to Little Rock,Ark., Resolution No. 13,349(May 17,2016).
