3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT INCREASE FOR
4 BURKHALTER TECHNOLOGIES, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
5 TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000.00), FOR ADDITIONAL
6 IMPROVEMENTS TO P STREET, FROM PIERCE STREET TO
7 TAYLOR STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

9 WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock Board of Directors authorized a contract with Burkhalter
10 Technologies, Inc., by Resolution No. 14,147 (July 7, 2015) for P Street, from Pierce Street to Taylor
11 Street, Project No. 13-3-16A, Bid No. 15011; and,
12 WHEREAS, It is desirable to increase the authorized contract amount Burkhalter Technologies, Inc.,
13 to provide for additional storm sewer improvements.
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order with Burkhalter
17 Technologies, Inc., for Scenic Drive Improvements in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
18 ($25,000) making a new authorized contract amount of Two Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand, Nine
19 Hundred Five and 78/100 Dollars($214,905.78).
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the Capital Improvement Bonds for Streets and Drainage
21 and the 3/s-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating Use Tax Funds and amended by
22 Resolution No. 14,269.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
30 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
