RIGGS, AT THE TOTAL COST OF 5 REPAIR SERVICE OF SEVENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, EIGHT 6 HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($78,875.00), FOR THE REPAIR 7 OF A 1996 CATERPILLAR COMPACTOR FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS 8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of repair service of a 1996 Caterpillar 11 Compactor, at the total cost of repair service of Seventy-Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred Seventy-Five 12 Dollars($78,875.00); and, 13 WHEREAS, the service will consist of various repairs, including transmission of the back-up 14 Compactor for the Landfill; and, 15 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through the formal bid process and J. A. Riggs submitted 16 the most competitive quote;and, 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 20 J.A. Riggs for the repair service of a 1996 Caterpillar Compactor for the Public Works Department for a 21 total cost being Seventy-Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars($78,875.00). 22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Maintenance Account. 23 Section 3. Severability.
