Home My WebLink About14436 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,436 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LITTLE ROCK EQUIPMENT SALES, FOR 5 A TOTAL COST OF EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED 6 SEVENTY-NINE DOLLARS ($88,879.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE 7 (1) JOHN DEERE TRACTOR WITH TWENTY-TWO (22)-FOOT BOOM 8 MOWER FOR PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET 9 OPERATIONS DIVISION FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; 10 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of one (1) John Deere Tractor with Twenty- 13 Two(22)-foot Boom Mower for the Street Operations Division; and, 14 WHEREAS, bids were solicited and received through CLR Bid No. 16162, and Little Rock 15 Equipment Sales was the successful low bidder meeting specifications; and, 16 WHEREAS, this new Mowing Tractor will replace an older unit that is accruing excessive 17 maintenance costs and down time; and, 18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 21 Little Rock Equipment Sales for the purchase of one (1) John Deere Tractor with Twenty-Two (22)-Foot 22 Boom Mower for the Public Works Department Street Operations Division, for a total cost of this 23 purchase being Eighty-Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars($88,879.00). 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Account: 205409 S40B607, Public Works 25 Equipment Activity. 26 Section 3. Severability.
