3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 15, 2016, AS THE DATE OF
4 PUBLIC HEARING ON AN APPEAL OF THE PLANNING
5 COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION OF DENIAL FOR A
6 REQUESTED PLANNED ZONING DISTRICT TITLED WEST
7 MARKHAM AND NORTH MONROE SHORT-FORM PCD,LOCATED AT
8 4908 WEST MARKHAM STREET, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (Z-5151-
9 B); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

II WHEREAS, a Notice of Appeal has been filed as a result of the Planning Commission's
12 recommendation of denial of a Planned Commercial Development Zoning District to allow the construction
13 of a new restaurant on the property located at 4908 West Markham Street;and,
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
16 Section 1. The hearing on the Notice of Appeal of the Planning Commission's recommendation of
17 denial of a Planned Commercial Development Zoning District to allow the construction of a new restaurant
18 on the property, located at 4908 West Markham Street(Z-5151-B), shall be held at a meeting of the Board
19 of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 15' day of
20 November, 2016.
21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
22 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
23 County, Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
