Home My WebLink About14427 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,427 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE 4 A CONTRACT WITH NSC,INC.,FOR A TOTAL COST NOT TO EXCEED 5 SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND 6 DOLLARS ($73,450.00), TO PROVIDE TRUSS, ROOF AND RELATED 7 WORK AT LITTLE ROCK FIRE STATION NO. 7; AND FOR OTHER 8 PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. 16148, was issued to provide 11 truss work, roof and related work at Little Rock Fire Station No. 7, and NSC, Inc., submitted the lowest 12 qualifying quotation of Fifty-One Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($51,450.00),for labor 13 and material to provide work as described in the bid documents; 14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 17 NSC, Inc., to provide truss work at a total bid price of Fifty-One Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty Dollars 18 ($51,450.00), plus a contingency of Twenty-two Thousand Dollars ($22,000.00), for a total cost not to 19 exceed Seventy-Three Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($73,450.00). 20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from Building Facility Improvement Account 21 108409-S40A569. 22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 26 resolution. 27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 28 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 29 ADOPTED: October 3,2016 30 lita'S.
