Home My WebLink About14423 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,423 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING 4 SERVICES CONTRACTS FOR DESIGN OF THE 2016 TO 2018 CAPITAL 5 IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDED FROM THE PROCEEDS OF 6 THE 3/8-CENT CAPITAL SALES AND COMPENSATING USE TAX; 7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 14,310 sets forth the list of street and drainage projects for the 2016, 10 2017 and 2018 Street and Drainage Capital Improvement Program, and 11 AND, Engineering Consultants for Professional Services were selected pursuant to an annual 12 statements of qualifications process, Bid No. 15031 to provide Engineering Services for surveying,design 13 and on call assistance for the projects described herein. 14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Agri Process 17 Innovations, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) for the following 18 project: 19 a. Biscayne Drive Drainage from west of Glenn Abbey Court to Illinois Street(Ward 4). 20 Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with CEI Engineering 21 Associates, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Seven Thousand, Nine Hundred Forty-Firve Dollars 22 ($27,945.00)for the following project: 23 a. Fox Chapel Cul-Du-Sac Drainage(Ward 5). 24 Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Crafton Tull and 25 Associates, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) for the 26 following project: 27 a. Woodson Road from Halifax Drive to north of Browning Road (Ward 2). 28 Section 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Development 29 Consultants, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Thirty-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Dollars ($36,700.00) 30 for the following project: 31 a. Brown Street from 23rd and 24'x' Street to Asher Avenue(Ward 1). 32 Section 5. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Engineering 33 Compliance and Construction, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred 34 Dollars($27,500.00) for the following project: 'Page I of 41 1 a. Kings Point Cove Cul-du-Sac Drainage(Ward 5). 2 Section 6. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with ETC Engineers and 3 Architects, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Two Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($22,500.00) 4 for the following project: 5 a. 9'h Street at College Street widening(Ward 1). 6 Section 7. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with GarNat Engineering, 7 PLLC, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Forty-Four Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Four 8 Dollars($244,474.00)for the following projects: 9 a. Kavanaugh Boulevard at Jackson Street Drainage Improvements(Ward 3), 10 b. Markham Sidewalks from Bowman Road to Entergy Court(Ward 5), 11 c. Bowman Road at Markham Street Right-Turn Lane(Ward 5), 12 d. Col. Glenn Road Drainage at 10001 (Ward 7), and 13 e. Mabelvale West Road from Mabelvale East Road to South Loop Road(Ward 7). 14 Section 8. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Garver, LLC, in an 15 amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars ($235,400.00) for the 16 following projects: 17 a. Briarwood Ditch and Choctaw Circle Drainage Improvements(Ward 3), 18 b. Otter Creek Road at Stagecoach Road Drainage(Ward 7), and 19 c. West Baseline Road Improvements from Stagecoach Road to Southern Hills Circle(north side 20 widening)(Ward 7). 21 Section 9. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Hawkins Weir 22 Engineers, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Nine Thousand Dollars ($209,000.00) for the 23 following projects: 24 a. Whitmore Circle from 34'h Street around the loop street(Ward 1), 25 b. 24'h Street from Cloie Circle to Walker Street(Ward 6), and 26 c. Chateaus Lane Drainage(additional inlets and piping in circle)(Ward 7). 27 Section 10. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with ICONIC 28 Consulting Group, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Thirty-Six Thousand, Two Hundred Sixty Dollars 29 ($36,260.00)for the following project: 30 a. Valentine Street Improvements from 24111 Street to Asher Avenue(Ward 7). 31 Section 11. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Jacobs Engineering 32 Group, Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-One Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars 33 ($141,500.00) for the following projects: 34 a. 18'h Street from Peyton Street to Washington Street(Ward 1), 35 b. Abigail Street from 8`11 Street to 11'h Street(Ward 2), and (Page 2 of 41 1 c. Pennbrook/Cloverhill Road Drainage(8800 Block at Barrow Road)(Ward 6). 2 Section 12. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Landmark 3 Engineering and Surveying, Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Nine Thousand, Eight 4 Hundred Dollars($109,800.00)for the following projects: 5 a. Wakefield Neighborhood Sidewalks(Ward 2), 6 b. Pecan Lake/Tall Timber Drainage(Pecan Lake at Tall Timber, Tall Pine at Timberview)(Ward 7 7), and 8 c. Oxford Valley Drainage (Ward 7). 9 Section 13. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with McClelland 10 Consulting Engineers, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Ninety-Six Thousand Dollars ($96,000.00) for the 11 following projects: 12 a. Hutsell Road Drainage east of Geyer Springs Road (Ward 2), 13 b. Spring Valley Manor Drainage(culvert replacement)(Ward 6), and 14 c. Mann Road at Dartmoor Drainage(Ward 7). 15 Section 14. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Infrastructure 16 Solutions Group, LLC, in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand, Fifty Dollars($25,050.00) for 17 the following project: 18 a. Woodbridge Drive Drainage(at 10309 Woodbridge Drive) (Ward 7). 19 Section 15. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Pollution 20 Management, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) for the following 21 project: 22 a. Foxcroft Road at Jimmerson Creek Drainage(Ward 3). 23 Section 16. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Hanson and 24 McLaughlin, LLC, in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Three Thousand, One Hundred Seventy Dollars 25 ($23,170.00)for the following project: 26 a. Gunpowder Road Drainage(pipe replacement)(Ward 4). 27 Section 17. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with White Daters and 28 Associates, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) for the following 29 project: 30 a. Brookside Drive Sidewalk from Markham Street to Rodney Parham Road (Ward 4). 31 Section 18. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Central Arkansas 32 Engineering, PLLC, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Seventeen Thousand, Seven Hundred 33 Twenty-Four Dollars($117,724.00)for the following projects: 34 a. Gamble Road from Gamble Road to Nix Road(continuation of previous project)and asphalt 35 overlay Nix Road to Kanis Road (Ward 5), and 'Page 3 of 41 1 b. Peachtree Drive Sidewalk Repairs(4,300 feet)(Ward 6). 2 Section 19. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,clause, phrase,or 3 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 4 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 5 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 6 resolution. 7 Section 20.
