HomeMy WebLinkAbout14421 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,421 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE ADOPTED 2016 TO 2018 CAPITAL 4 IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDED FROM THE PROCEEDS OF 5 THE 3/8-CENT CAPITAL SALES AND COMPENSATING USE TAX FOR 6 WARD 7; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, The Little Rock Board of Directors adopted the 2016 to 2018 Capital Improvement 9 Program for Streets and Drainage by Resolution No. 14,310 on March 15,2016, and 10 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to amend the original list of projects by adding the projects identified 11 herein. 12 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 14 Section 1. The Board of Directors intends to accomplish the following additional projects in Ward 7. 15 • Col. Glenn Road Drainage(at 10001) 16 • Otter Creek Road Drainage at Stagecoach Road 17 • Oxford Valley Drainage 18 • Mann Road at Dartmoor Drainage. 19 Section 2. The Board of Directors intends to accomplish these additional projects within the original 20 funding allocation for Ward 7 of approximately Two Million, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars 21 ($2,600,000 ) with 2016, 2017, and 2018 proceeds from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales 22 and Compensating Use Tax. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4. Repealer.
