A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF
EMINENT DOMAIN ON THE STEPHENS &
BASELINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
SIDEWALKS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, attempts to acquire right -of -way and temporary construction easements necessary for
construction of the Stephens & Baseline Elementary School Sidewalks Project have been unsuccessful;
and
WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use of eminent domain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition of right -of -way
and temporary construction easements for this project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this property is available in accounts 318 - 220 -SW08 and 318- 220 -SW02.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
