3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 FPR INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDERS DODGE JEEP, FOR A
5 TOTAL COST OF SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED
6 THIRTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($73,434.00); FOR THE PURCHASE OF
7 THREE (3), 3/4-TON CREW CAB PICK-UP TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC
8 WORKS DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE
9 PURCHASING CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department is in need of three(3),3/4-Ton Crew Cab Pick-Up Trucks;
12 and,
13 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Purchasing Contract No. SP-16-0001 #17, the City can
14 purchase these three (3) vehicles for the Public Works Department for the total cost of Seventy-Three
15 Thousand,Four Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars($73,434.00); and,
16 WHEREAS,this purchase will add needed equipment for the new Re-Entry Program for Public Works.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State
20 Purchasing Contract No. SP-16-0001 #17 to enter into a contract with Landers Dodge Jeep for the purchase
21 of three(3),3/4-Crew Cab Pick-Up Trucks for the Public Works Department.
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the special account for Right-of-Way Maintenance
23 Re-Entry Program.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 . resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
