HomeMy WebLinkAbout14361 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,361 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH STEVE LANDERS TOYOTA, IN THE 5 TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN 6 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($127,585.00), 7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID FOR 8 THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE 9 ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND 10 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department is in need of five(5)Toyota Camry Hybrid Vehicles; 13 and, 14 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, the Fleet Services Department can purchase 15 these five (5) Vehicles from Steve Landers Toyota, for the total cost of One Hundred Twenty-Seven 16 Thousand,Five Hundred Eighty-Five Dollars($127,585.00); and, 17 WHEREAS,this purchase will allow for replacement of aged vehicles currently in the City's fleet; 18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State 21 Contract No. SP-16-0001 to enter into a contract with Steve Landers Toyota for the purchase of five (5) 22 Toyota Camry Hybrid Vehicles for the Little Rock Police Department, for a total cost of One Hundred 23 Twenty-Seven Thousand,Five Hundred Eighty-Five Dollars($127,585.00). 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2016 Short-Term Financing Note Account. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
