3 A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR JULY
4 5, 2016, ON AN APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
5 RECOMMENDATION OF DENIAL FOR A REQUESTED REZONING
6 OF 0.53 ACRES FROM R-2, SINGLE-FAMILY DISTRICT, TO C-3
7 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (WITH CONDITION), LOCATED
8 AT 8216 CANTRELL ROAD. (Z-8829-A), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE,
9 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the applicant, Ernest J. Peters, is appealing the Planning Commission's
12 recommendation for denial for a requested rezoning of 0.53 acres from R-2, Single-Family District,to C-
13 3,General Commercial District(with condition), located at 8216 Cantrell Road;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the appeal of the Planning Commission's recommendation of denial for a
17 requested rezoning of 0.5 acres from R-2, Single-Family District, to C-3, General Commercial District
18 (with condition), located at 8216 Cantrell Road, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the
19 City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on June 21, 2016.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
21 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
22 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
