HomeMy WebLinkAbout14343 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,343 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO RENEW 4 THE ANNUAL SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH 5 INFOR (US), INC., FORMERLY LAWSON SOFTWARE, INC., IN THE 6 AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED 7 FIFTY-ONE 32/100 DOLLARS ($140,951.32), PLUS ANY APPLICABLE 8 TAXES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, Little Rock Ordinance No. 20,582 (May 1, 2012) ("LRO 20,582") dispensed with 11 competitive bidding and awarded a five (5)-year Software Maintenance Agreement with Lawson 12 Software, Inc. ("Lawson"),to provide annual maintenance for the City's Lawson Accounting and Human 13 Resources Payroll Software;y o e, and 14 WHEREAS, effective July 1, 2012,Lawson changed its name to Infor(US),Inc. ("Infor"); and 15 WHEREAS, in accordance with LRO 20,582, the City Manager has certified that Infor is the only 16 company that is authorized to provide this service pursuant to the Lawson Software License; 17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK.ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement 20 with Infor to provide annual maintenance service for the City's Accounting and Human Resources Payroll 21 Software in the amount of One Hundred Forty Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty-One and 32/100 Dollars 22 ($140,951.32), plus any applicable taxes. 23 Section 2. Funds for the annual payment required pursuant to the agreement authorized by this 24 resolution are available in the City's Finance Account No. 102501-61350. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
