HomeMy WebLinkAbout14342 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,342 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO AGREEMENTS WITH PRESIDIO NETWORKED SOLUTIONS, 5 LLC, IN THE AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT 6 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE AND 09/100 DOLLARES 7 ($688,255.09), PLUS ANY APPLICABLE TAXES, FOR THE PHASE-ONE 8 PURCHASE, INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION OF A VOICE- 9 OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL PHONE SYSTEM; AND FOR OTHER 10 PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock published Request for Proposals No. 15178 for qualified 13 proposals for phase one of a Cisco Unified Communications Voice-Over Internet Protocol System; and 14 WHEREAS, a selection committee appointed by the City Manager selected the proposal submitted 15 by Presidio Networked Solutions,LLC("Presidio"),as the qualified low bid; 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK.ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into agreements with 19 Presidio Networked Solutions, LLC, for the phase-one purchase, installation, and configuration of a 20 Voice-Over Internet Protocol Phone System to support the City's desk phones for a total project cost not 21 to exceed Six Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty-Five and 09/100 Dollars 22 ($688,255.09),plus any applicable taxes. 23 Section 2. Funds for the cost of this project are available from the Information Technology 24 Department's Accounts S30A263, S30A396, S30A462,and S30A567. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
